Service Civil International (SCI) is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting a culture of peace by organizing international voluntary projects for people of all ages and backgrounds. The organization consists of 40 branches and an ever growing number of partner organizations. SCI India established in the year 1950s works through voluntary work camps and other actions with national branches / groups . In India it has six groups in places such as Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Andra Pradesh. The National Secretariat of the organization is in JJ Colony, Nangloi, Delhi. SCI India invites, youth clubs, fan clubs and individual volunteers who need a national banner for their activities and their activities be spread over to 40 plus world countries. By involving yourselves you will be gaining: * Membership in a National / International Organization. A person over 18 years can become member. * Your activities will be known to the members all over India through its groups / branchs. You may likely to get volunteers to work for your programmes as volunteers i.e as teachers, cooking assistant, gardening and care taking etc., * You will ne elegible to attend workcamps, week end camps and Long Term Volunteer oppartunities in India and aboard * Overseas volunteers will join with your local activities, stay and work in your village / community * When your activities / programmes are welknown in the groups and branchs in India, chances for you to attend conferences / meetings in all over Europe, USA, Australia and Asia.
